His and Hers

Every marriage–like the one you’re about to hear from–has a two-sided perspective from the husband and wife. They strive to create a balance and keep God at the helm, but not many couples I know are having such a great impact on the artist community and the Lord’s people. Daniel and Melissa–the founders of MLoveizm Magazine–have been hard at work in the trenches trying to discover the best way to shine light on Christian artists and draw all men–even unbelievers–to the truth of God. I’ve been so privileged to be in on their journey as a team member, sister in Christ, and supporter of their vision. One of the artists was Amy Wagner. She’s known to have an entourage wherever she goes, and a few of her friends who lived in the area were able to come out to the art shows we were involved in. One of  her supporters was Jerrell Conner. Read the rest of this entry »

Freedom of Design

I’d seen her at different GroundUP art shows and noticed the talent behind her digital designs a while ago, but it wasn’t until a separate art show in the summer of 2008 when I finally met her and saw her portfolio. My friend and photographer Neilnorman showed me the new glossy business cards he just printed, and they were some of the most professional and eye catching I had seen. Read the rest of this entry »

RZone hits the streets…literally.

Rzone

I’d say it’s pretty rude to throw someone’s artwork on the ground, but RZone has intentionally made pieces that you can walk on. She’s asked me to promote her new shoes–I KNOW, isn’t that so cool!–in my blog.
